The student will demonstrate effective professional oral and written communication skills and techniques required of competent and successful business leaders and managers.
The student will demonstrate effective information literacy and qualitative and quantitative critical thinking skills as they relate to the development of sound business tactics and strategy.
The student will demonstrate current relevant disciplinary knowledge and competencies specific to the fields of finance, strategy, managerial accounting, marketing, and organizational behavior that impact the development of sound business tactics and strategy.
The student will demonstrate the importance of ethical decision-making and ethical business practices aligned with the organization's goal and objectives.
As an EMBA in Digital Transformation student, you will:
Study core EMBA topics such as finance, marketing, and strategy, while also learning technical content more often associated with master-level courses in data science and business analytics.
Learn how to use data to make strategic decisions, mitigate risk, and drive business innovation.
Broaden your technical and managerial knowledge while deepening your strategic thinking skills and leadership capabilities.
The Executive MBA in Digital Transformation has a continuously changing curriculum and custom, integrated cases developed around current and emerging business and technology trends.
Students will also participate in a Personal Leadership Effectiveness program, which will provide one-on-one coaching throughout their studies.

Work Experience - Best fit for anyone with more than 10 years of work/senior management experience.
The program is tailored for mid-career professionals from a diverse set of industry backgrounds and is highly selective.
This is a competitive and limited enrolment program that requires a fastidious admission process to determine a candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Considerable work experience, including a significant amount in a managerial capacity (10+ years)
Exceptions: AAU will consider non-degree applicants if they have a minimum of 15 years of senior managerial experience. If candidates fall short on work experience or degree requirements, they will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may be required to write a GMAT.

Initial interview with EMBA admissions team to:
Discuss candidacy and qualifications.
Book interview with EMBA Academic Director if moving forward with application
Online interview with Academic Director to:
Determine fit and discuss expectations
Determine if additional requirements are needed (TOEFL/IELTS for international candidates and/or GMAT for candidates that do not meet the minimum work experience or degree requirements)
Invitation to apply (if eligible). A full application will include:
Official transcript (under seal) from each post-secondary institution attended
Two professional references/letters of recommendation
Letter from employer confirming support of applicant in taking this program
TOEFL/IELTS and/or GMAT if required
Application fee
AAU faculty will assess applications on a rolling (first come, first serve) basis. Typically, we will make an admission decision within a week of receipt of a complete application.

Duration
14 months in length.
It begins virtually every six months and is built around four in-person.
EMBA candidates participate in online work (approximately 20 hours per week)
